As DreamCloud and Nectar share a parent company, Resident Home, they have a very similar approach to price, deals, and trials.
For example, you can expect near-permanent discounts in both the year-round DreamCloud mattress sales and Nectar mattress sales. In other words, the sale prices are the default prices, with queen Nectar Classic maintaining a $649 price tag.
There's sometimes a slight variation with the DreamCloud Classic, as a queen size can fluctuate between $649 and $699 and a twin size between $349 and $399.
The lower price usually occurs around bigger sale events, such as the Memorial Day mattress sales, while the higher price tends to be the standard.
We've also seen a sleep accessory deal during the DreamCloud Black Friday sales, where the brand threw is $699 worth of free bedding with every Classic mattress purchased.
In terms of benefits, there is virtually no difference between the DreamCloud Classic and the Nectar Classic. Both reduce risk with a generous year-long sleep trial, a lifetime warranty, and free shipping and returns.

The DreamCloud and Nectar are two of the best mattresses in a box we've tested, which means they come in compressed and rolled up in a shipping box. Both mattresses are also 12" tall.
However, their designs differ in terms of structure. The DreamCloud Classic has four internal layers and is one of the best hybrid mattresses we've tested.
That means it features memory foam layers combined with a tier of innerspring coils for extra support. It also has a quilted cover infused with cooling fibers for a five-star hotel touch.
The Nectar Classic, however, has an all-foam construction, with three layers of memory foam. As one of the best memory foam mattresses on the market, the Nectar Classic uses different foam for each layer, with one designed to provide support and another to provide pressure relief.
It has a smooth fabric cover as opposed to a quilted top, but like the DreamCloud, it also has a "cooling fiber" infusion. (Neither DreamCloud or Nectar specify what these cooling fibers are or what they're made from.)
DreamCloud Classic vs Nectar Classic mattress: Comfort & Support

Both the Nectar and DreamCloud are self-described "firm" mattresses, but we describe them as medium-firm after testing both for ourselves.
This discovery was by no means disappointing, however, as the slightly softer feel makes them great for both side and back sleeping.
We rated the DreamCloud a six out of 10 on the firmness scale (10 being the firmest). Our lead tester says they found the mattress "most comfortable for back and side sleeping, where the lumbar region remained supported but the mattress sank beneath the hips and shoulders enough to relieve pressure."
The Nectar, on the other hand, was rated slightly firmer. Our testing panel awarded the all-foam bed a 7.5 out of 10, and said that while our side-sleeping testers loved the body-molding foam, "the dense foam structure hit a lot of highs with our back and front sleeping testers too."
In fact, the Nectar Classic was firm and supportive enough for all sleep positions, making it one of the best mattresses for stomach sleepers.
Overall, both are two of the best medium-firm mattresses for side and back sleepers, but stomach sleepers (or combination sleepers who sometimes sleep on their front) should opt for the Nectar Classic for better support.
DreamCloud Classic vs Nectar Classic mattress: Temperature Regulation

Neither the Nectar or DreamCloud are dedicated cooling models, so can't really compete with the best cooling mattresses on the market. However, both are equipped with decent and effective temperature regulation.
Both share the aforementioned mysterious "cooling fibers" that are woven into their covers for a cooling surface. As a hybrid mattress, the DreamCloud inherently has an edge in the cooling department due to its airflow-boosting innerspring coils.
And this edge showed up in our thermal imaging tests, where the DreamCloud Classic stayed temperature neutral by slowly releasing body heat while the sleeper lay on the mattress.
As for the Nectar Classic, reviewers never reported sleeping hot during the testing period. However, the DreamCloud has the science-backed heat dissipation needed to help you stay comfortable.
