Chelsea fans are sweating on the latest injury news on midfielder Mateo Kovacic after he was substituted during Croatia's clash with Wales this evening (Sunday).
The Croatian midfielder picked up a knock in the build-up to Gareth Bale's equaliser for Wales at the end of the first half, with Kovacic being replaced by Ivan Rakitic.
The extent of the injury is not yet known, and the Blues will now be waiting for news on the 25-year-old, who has made 11 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions so far this season.
Kovacic has been heavily involved in Frank Lampard's squad this season, after making his move to Chelsea permanent, following a loan spell last season.
The midfielder's injury scare is the latest concern for the Blues over the international break, after N'Golo Kante, Reece James and Andreas Christensen also emerged as doubts ahead of Chelsea's next Premier League fixture against Newcastle United next weekend.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Ethan Ampadu also went off injured in the game between Wales and Croatia at the Cardiff City Stadium, with the Welsh midfielder going off with a head injury following an aerial challenge.
Ampadu is currently on loan at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
