Rangers are looking at a defensive crisis ahead of their Europa League clash against Lyon with Connor Goldson and Filip Helander major doubts. How will they fare against Moussa Dembele and co?
ANDY NEWPORT: I fear they may struggle. Lyon haven’t exactly sparkled so far this season they will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey
DAVID McCARTHY: I think they will face a very difficult night. Steven Gerrard 's team are still not firing on all cylinders and although their European record is excellent, Lyon will be favourites to top their group and I'd expect the French team to win on Thursday.
CRAIG SWAN: It is not going to be easy, although Lyon are not in red-hot form themselves. Rangers can find a way.
Dom McKay, we hardly knew ya. How should we reflect on the now departed Celtic chief exec’s short tenure?
ANDY: It’s all a bit bizarre. From the outside it looks like he was doing a decent job after a remarkable transfer window saw the Celtic squad transformed but the whispers are that those inside the boardroom were not so impressed.
DAVID: It would appear that there was enough discord behind the scenes for him to leave early, perhaps before he was shoved. He oversaw what looks like a decent transfer window and brought in good money from player sales, so his short time appears to have been reasonably successful.
CRAIG: Hard to know because no-one is aware of exactly what he did and didn't do during his time in post.
Odsonne Edouard made the dream start down south with a double on his Crystal Palace debut. Is the former Celt good enough to be a Premier League hit?
ANDY: Definitely. Yes he appeared to lose interest during the later stages of his time at Parkhead but a motivated, fully firing Edouard has the potential to be a star down south.
DAVID: If Edouard is motivated he'll be a success in the English top flight because he's got all the attributes. He's certainly off to a flyer.
CRAIG: His debut suggests that he is. Edouard may well blossom amongst top company.

ANDY: As good as any. What a future she has ahead of her. I’m already looking forward to next summer’s Wimbledon adventure.
DAVID: It's right up there with any of the great sporting achievements, male or female. An absolutely astonishing story that should be cherished and celebrated.
CRAIG: The teenager was brilliant all the way through the US Open. Comparing her with others is pointless.
