Both Leeds United and Amazon Prime Video Sport have confirmed that the brand new Leeds United documentary - Take Us Home - will be released in full on Amazon Prime on Friday.
The highly anticipated documentary, which will be narrated by Russell Crowe, covers the highs and lows of a memorable 2018/19 campaign for the Whites.
Despite Marcelo Bielsa’s troops ultimately falling at the final hurdle - being beaten in a pulsating Championship play-off semi-final battle by Derby County - it was still a season that will live long in the memory for Leeds fans, with the season being considered as something of a rebirth of the Elland Road club.
For several seasons Leeds had been battling it out for mid-table obscurity in the Championship, yet last term proved to be special, as fresh optimism was thrown back into the club under Bielsa’s stewardship.
And the brand new documentary, which has its premiere in Leeds on Wednesday evening, will show just how exciting last season proved to be in six separate episodes.
Understandably, the launch of the documentary has sent waves of excitement through the football world, particularly for the Leeds fans themselves, who have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the upcoming series, with some praising the documentary and others not so keen to be reminded of the heartbreaking defeat to Derby.
