'Can he score goals?' Nottingham Forest fans react to Morgan Fox transfer speculation

Nottingham Forest fans have been giving their reaction to speculation linking Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox with a move to the City Ground.

The Reds are said to be interested in signing the left-back, along with the likes of Derby County, West Bromwich Albion, Huddersfield Town and Blackburn Rovers.

Fox's current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

We asked the Forest faithful if they thought the 26-year-old would be a good signing.

Some said yes, some said no, while some were more interested in the club adding to their attacking options in the January transfer window.

Here are some of the comments posted on our Facebook page...

Alasdair Quinn: Robinson is a bit of a liability. We definitely need another LB.

Glen Page: If we push the weekends result aside, I don't feel like we need defensive reinforcements at all.

Alex Britton: I think Robinson has definitely been a liability this season, especially in the last few games. Not sure he can always be trusted to provide a strong defense and he often makes sloppy mistakes, the penalty give away last week for example.

Andy Staniforth: Who’s Clyne play for now? I know he’s a right back but he’d be good signing?

Paul Catton: It's someone to help up front (we need), not a defender.

Andrew Swindells: Sounds like we need a defender after saturday.

Gary Towlson: Can he score goals?

Jason Bastable: How many will he bang in?

Peter Simpson: Can he score goals too?

Dave Bignall: We need fire power.

Sharmake Sham'ak: YES.

Don Doak: Need strikers.

Matt Filer: He's their weak link, we don’t need him.

Mike Proctor: One big defeat?? Talk about over reaction. Retire Dawson and bring on the rest. That should get a few people going.

Tom Juliet Barrett: We need wingers and strikers, people who will win you games, although another left back wouldn't go amiss. Agree about retiring Dawson, maybe offer him a coaching role at the club.

Jack Grainger: Sign him up.

Tom Martin: No.
