Head coach Sabri Lamouchi is confident there is still much more to come from Nottingham Forest ace Joe Lolley this season.
By his own high standards, the Reds’ reigning Player of the Year hasn’t quite hit full throttle on a consistent basis so far under Lamouchi.
Nevertheless, the winger has still bagged four goals in 11 appearances, including netting the equaliser with a rocket of a strike to earn a point at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night.
Lolley himself has said he is happy to spurn the limelight if it means Forest are picking up results, describing them as “more of a team” this term.
Lamouchi says he is well aware what Lolley can do - and has backed him to keep improving as the campaign wears on.
“Joe is one of our key players. I know exactly what he can do,” the Frenchman said.

“He can do more, he can score more, he can help more; he can play much better, because he has huge quality and huge potential. I know that.
“And I told him that, not after the first month, but from the beginning, because he needed to know me more.
“But now he knows everybody. He knows the league.
“He got us back in the game against Blackburn at the right time.”
