
In 2016, the number of deaths from road accidents in the EU remained stagnant at around 26,000 fatalities. Work to reduce that figure continues with the use of dashcams: cameras on dashboards of cars and even helmets of cyclists. In the UK, they are seen as a key tool in holding reckless drivers accountable. Our France 2 colleagues report, with FRANCE 24's Claire Rush.
