Eddie Howe has called for tunnel vision from Newcastle United fans ahead of their home clash with Norwich City.
The new Toon head coach feels that United can not afford to look too far forward or weigh up the enormity of collecting another 34 points from the remaining 25 matches at one time.
Howe insists Newcastle must forget about everything apart from Tuesday's clash with the Canaries to re-ignite their season.
With Newcastle officials urging fans to "pack the park" with tickets still available for the game, Howe said: "I think at the moment we have to just look at the first one. One win can change everything.
"The momentum in football is so important. We need to try to get that win as quickly as we can."
Newcastle may have been beaten 2-0 at Arsenal but Howe admits he saw enough to take forward into the remaining fixtures.
Howe added: "As always you analyse the goals and potentially could have done better.
"We were not as clinical as we could have been but at least we are creating the moments.
"The players have been very responsive. In the two games we've had they have given everything to the team.
"I can't ask any more from them apart from their best. We have some important games to come."
