A frantic search has been launched to trace a missing camper last seen at a Scots pub.
The last sighting of Liam Keenan was at the Tibbieshiels Inn, between Loch of the Lowes and St Mary's Loch in the Borders at 12.30am today. The 21-year-old had been spending the night in the area with friends before they became separated and he vanished overnight.
Officers say the young man left the area on foot as his car and belongings still remain where he left them.
Liam is described as white, 6ft 3in tall, of a slim build and with brown curly hair. When he disappeared, he was wearing black jogging bottoms and a black hoodie.
Inspector Stephen Ross said: “Liam was out with the intention of camping for the evening with friends, however has managed to get separated and has not been seen since. As time goes on we are growingly increasingly concerned for him.
“Officers are carrying out searches of the area and speaking to all those who know him to try and trace him. He is believed to have left on foot as his car and belongings remain in the area.
“If anyone has seen anyone matching Liam’s description, or knows of his whereabouts, please get in contact. Liam, if you see this, please get in touch and let us know you are okay.”
