Camila Cabello has announced a "detox" from social media for a couple of days - with the musician expected to resume using her accounts in the new year.
The 24-year-old is often active on the likes of Instagram, with the singer-songwriter - formerly a member of Fifth Harmony - having 59 million followers on the platform.
Her posts typically include giving fans a glimpse into her life and promoting her projects - with Cinderella (2021) a recent example, in which she starred alongside Idina Menzel, 50.
It was on this account that the performer is said to have revealed to fans that she would be taking a temporary break from social media - at least for the rest of the year.

According to E! Online, she shared the news on Sunday (December 26), writing in a post on her Instagram Story: "Going on a lil social media detox till the new year!"
And discussing the reason behind the decision, Camila said: "Just wanna spend a little less time on my phone this week."
The most recent post on her page marked the birthday of her mother, Sinuhe Estrabao. Alongside a photo of her, Camila noted that her mother had taught her "important" lessons.
She said that this included learning "what love and generosity look like," for example, with the musician adding: "You've taught me by how you walk and move in this world."

Her break from social media comes just over a month after Camila announced her split from partner Shawn Mendes, 23 - with the couple sharing the news on social media.
In a joint statement, released in November, they said: "Hey guys, we've decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever."
They continued: "We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends. We so appreciate your support from the beginning and moving forward."
