Cameron Jordan taunts Falcons’ first-round draft picks

New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan is a big-time playmaker, and he’s got the big personality to match. So of course he was glued into the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, taking notes on which players were going where.

He wasn’t happy to see Arizona State wide receiver N’Keal Harry be picked by the New England Patriots at the end of the first round; he and Harry attended the same high school in Chandler, Arizona, and Jordan hoped the two of them could play together as teammates in the NFL.

But when it came to the selections made by the NFC South rival Atlanta Falcons, Jordan celebrated. Atlanta made two big investments along their offensive line, first selecting Boston College guard Chris Lindstrom and later trading up to pick Washington tackle Kaleb McGary. Each of those rookies should expect to line up against Jordan early and often in 2019, to Jordan’s delight.

As Jordan puts it, he’s excited to try the “fresh meat” and go to work against some new faces in the NFL. If his past boasting is any indication, Jordan should continue to thrive in the 2019 season.
