Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden are the "happiest" since their daughter Raddix has been born.
The Hollywood actress, 47, and the rocker, 40, made their joy public with a heart-warming Instagram post in the early days of January.
Sources claimed the happy couple welcomed their first daughter into the world “right before New Years in Los Angeles".
If so, it seems the notoriously private lovebirds kept the news under wraps for a few days before sharing it with the world.
They said they will not post any pictures of their little girl on social media with their legion of fans.
“You can tell they are just the happiest,” the source told PEOPLE. “It’s very emotional for them.”
The Mirror has approached Cameron Diaz's representatives for further comment.
Cameron and Benij took to their own Instagram accounts to share identical statements breaking the news of their daughter's arrival.
They made it clear the pair won't share any other details apart from their daughter's name - Raddix Madden.
The couple - who have struggled with IVF over the years - were happier than ever to start the decade with their baby girl.
In a lengthy post, they wrote: "Happy New Year from the Maddens! We are so happy, blessed and grateful to being this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden.
"She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family. While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little's one's privacy.
"So we won't be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really really cute!! Some would even say RAD:)
