Cameras Caught Travis Kelce, Bill Belichick Having Classy Moment After Chiefs Beat Patriots

The Patriots and Chiefs battled back and forth on Sunday through a dreary day in Foxborough.

When the dust settled, Kansas City was victorious, snapping a two-game losing streak with a 27-17 win over New England. While the Chiefs still were far from perfect, the game was a good step in the right direction for the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Tight end Travis Kelce, whose girlfriend Taylor Swift was once again in attendance, struggled on the day, finishing with just five receptions for 28 yards, as well as a few rough plays in the end zone.

But despite not playing his best, Kelce was all business after the game, and shared a moment of respect with New England head coach Bill Belichick in the form of a firm handshake.

Between them, Belichick and Kelce have 10 Super Bowl rings. And after coaching Rob Gronkowski for so many years in New England, Belichick knows a thing or two about what it takes to be a great tight end in the NFL.

While it appeared to be a moment of mutual respect between the two greats, fans following the action online had a different read on the situation—clearly, Belichick was looking for some Taylor Swift tickets.

Whatever the true nature of the conversation between Belichick and Kelce, these two seem destined to meet each other again in a few years in the Hall of Fame.
