A Wishaw camera club has won a place in the Glasgow District Photographic Union (GDPU) league finals.
Alba Photographic Society will take part in the event on April 26.
Due to Covid restrictions, this year's final will take place over Zoom, with all participating camera clubs invited to attend.
This is sure to be be an exciting event, with stiff competition from the all the clubs taking part.
In normal times, Alba members meet each Wednesday evening in Netherton community hall, Wishaw, between the months of September and April.
The closure of the hall has not deterred members, who have continued to meet each Wednesday evening over Zoom.
During the last year, members have enjoyed hearing many prestigious speakers as well as holding tuition nights, audio visual presentations, and even the odd quiz or two.
One upside of the regular Zoom calls is that it has provided the opportunity to attract many new speakers who would normally live too far away to attend the Wishaw club on a weekly basis.
