Camelphat on why Everton should be banned from playing Friday night football

Today marks the final day of Creamfields 2019 and the ECHO grabbed a chat with major Liverpool DJs Camelphat before their headline performance.

The producers of hit song Cola and Panic Room discussed coming home to Liverpool, travelling the world and why Friday night football should be banned.

Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala are avid blues and joked that Everton shouldn't be able to ruin Friday night as well as Saturday and Sunday.

Dave said: "We literally had the laptop out [before the gig], Everton vs Villa and typically we got let down. [It's] nothing new but we should be banned from playing football on Friday nights because it completely ruins your weekend.

"I've said this on Twitter, usually it's the Saturday and Sunday that gets ruined but now it's Friday night as well.

"So I want my Fridays back, never again. Ban Everton from playing Friday nights!"

The chart-topping duo also discussed their homecoming gig at Bramley Moore Dock .
