Cambuslang Rangers co-boss Billy Campbell says his side are 95 per cent there in building their squad for a crack at the West of Scotland League Conference B title.
Campbell says he would still like to get a central defender in for their assault on the league, which kicks off with a home match against St Cadoc’s on July 17.
Rangers - who have enjoyed a 2-2 draw with Wishaw and won the William Skinner Cup against local rivals Rutherglen in pre-season so far - then travel to Glasgow United in their next fixture on July 21, and Campbell is looking forward to all of it.
He said: “You’ve got to deal with what you’ve got to deal with, but we’ve got a wee home tie to start with, so we’re absolutely fine with that.

“You take a home tie every day, so we’ll get on and see what comes. We want to win the league and go into it with the same determination we always have to succeed.
“In the background we’re trying our best to try and get us into position where we can have everything in place to give us a chance to succeed.
“It’s the same desire we always have when we take a team into the division, and we’re looking forward to it.”
Campbell added: “We’ve got a good squad together, there are a couple of wee things to tweak and change, but we’ll be ready to go once we start.
“We’ve probably got about 95 per cent of the squad there just now, we’re just looking to secure another centre-back but everything else is in place.
“It’s coming together.”
