Billy Campbell labelled Cambuslang Rangers phenomenal after they made it six wins on the bounce in West of Scotland League Conference B last night to go top of the table.
Camby hit the summit with a thumping 4-1 win away to near rivals Ardeer Thistle.
And co-boss Campbell has been thrilled with the run his side have gone on since losing their opening game of the season to St Cadoc's.
A double from Scott Wiliamson, plus strikes from Alan Reid and Gordon Dick - who had a first half penalty saved - inflicted Thistle's first defeat of the campaign and put Lang a point clear of their opponents, Gartcairn and St Cadoc's all sitting on 17 points.
Campbell said: "We were genuinely unlucky to lose our first game and we should have taken something from it.
"They didn't play poorly that day, but the attitude and application they have shown since that game - in both training and games - has been phenomenal.
"We've got young boys like Jay Nelson coming in and playing his part - he's starting every game. And you've got guys like Alan Reid at the back playing phenomenal and scoring goals, big Ryan Francis has come back from injury, Garry Griffin, Ryan Stewart, Tony Stevenson, the workrate has been brilliant.

"Young Scott Williamson and Gordon Dick have got us goals last night as well.
"They've all stuck at it and we've got our rewards for it.
"The boys have been excellent.
"Don't get me wrong, we are only seven games in but to be playing with the confidence that we are at this stage is really pleasing.
"It's a bit meaningless at the moment [being top] because there is still a lot of games to come.
"But I'd rather win six games bounce on than lose them."
Cambuslang's build-up to the clash wasn't ideal with both Campbell and players getting caught in traffic on the way to the game.
He added: "Ardeer is a tough place to go at the best of times, never mind on a Wednesday night when everyone is trying to get there from their work and there was roadworks.
"It was a bit stressful trying to get everybody there and I was a bit late myself, but we managed to get the team sorted out and we were really pleased with the performance.
"Ardeer had the best start of anyone in our league, so it was a good result for us."
The Somervell Park side will now look to make it seven consecutive victories on Saturday when they welcome Renfrew.
"We've got Renfrew next and they've won four out of their seven games, so they will be high in confidence as well," said Campbell.
"We need to be ready for that challenge."
