Cambuslang police incident: Man taken to hospital after found injured on street

A man was rushed to hospital after Police found him injured in Cambuslang.

Officers raced to Western Road in Cambuslang at around 9pm on Friday night, September 3, the Daily Record reports.

The alarm was raised after a man was found injured on the road.

He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

An eyewitness said three police cars and an ambulance raced to the scene.

The extent of the man's injuries are not known.

Officers have now launched an enquiry to investigate the full circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a man found injured on Western Road in Cambuslang around 9.15pm on Friday, 3 September.

“The man has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
