A Cambuslang mum has launched a desperate appeal to help trace her missing teenage son.
Kai Rae, 16, was last seen leaving his house around 9am this morning in the Halfway area.
He is described as being about 5'6, slim and is wearing dark joggers.
His mum says he may also have a bag with him.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, mum Gillian Rae says her son's disappearance is "completely out of character".
Police Scotland have confirmed they have received a report on Kai's disappearance.
