The primary purpose of this event is to recognise the professionals and businesses that have delighted food lovers with their menus and the wide range of options available.

It isn't just takeaways that have been nominated but chefs, restaurants, managers, teams and curry schools have also been nominated for a variety of awards.

A spokesperson for The Scottish Curry Awards 2023 said: “The curry campaign has been hugely successful across the UK with Scottish, English, London and National editions to the awards. The 2023 Scottish Curry Awards will be a brilliant night of fun, curry food and celebration.

“In a country with so many food establishments and businesses, it can be hard to stand out. However, the 2023 finalists have all been distinguished as the real masters in their field due to their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction.

“Moreover, their success isn’t just about their dedication to leaving every customer satisfied. It’s also a story that reflects the resilience and creativity of countless chefs, restaurants, employees and managers who are always ensuring that locals and visitors eat outstanding curries.

“We have an abundance of talent and fierce competition this year and we wish best of luck to all finalists.”

Asian Tandoori recently hit headlines after it unveiled a robot kebab cutter, which is believed to be the first of its kind in Scotland.
