Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner meets Anglia Ruskin University apprentices

Degree apprentices from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) met Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner when he visited Cambridge Assessment.

Mr Zeichner visited on Friday, March 6, to find out more about the fast-growing field of data science and how apprenticeships programmes are being used by leading companies to develop future talent.

Ten BSc data science apprentices from ARU had the opportunity to speak to Mr Zeichner and present some of the projects they have been working on during the first six months of the course.

The BSc data science degree apprenticeship is a partnership between Cambridge Assessment, Cambridge University Press, and ARU.

Apprentices are learning some of the most sought-after skills in the job market, including programming, big data analytics and machine learning.
