'Camarasa is a myth!' These Palace fans can't believe what Roy Hodgson has done for Wolves clash

Some Crystal Palace fans have expressed their disbelief at one decision made by Roy Hodgson for the Eagles’ home game against Wolves this afternoon (Sunday).

The Eagles host Nuno Espirito Santo’s men in south London, with Wolves still searching for their first win of the season in the Premier League, sitting second from bottom with three points from their opening five games of the new campaign.

In contrast, Palace currently sit 13th with seven points from their first five games, with the Eagles currently unbeaten at Selhurst Park in the league so far this season.

Roy Hodgson’s men have picked up four points from their two home fixtures against Everton and Aston Villa so far, and Palace have made just one change to the team that lost out 4-0 against Tottenham last weekend, with James McArthur returning to the midfield.

Andros Townsend has dropped to the bench as a result, with Jordan Ayew once again leading the line for Palace after scoring two goals in his first five games this season.

But it is the absence of one player from the matchday squad that has got some Palace fans talking ahead of the game, with former Cardiff City loanee Victor Camarasa not involved for the Eagles this afternoon.

That is despite Hodgson hinting at his pre-match press conference this week that Camarasa could be set for more involvement, having only played twice so far during his loan spell.

Hodgson said on Friday that he had an almost fully fit squad to choose from, with Connor Wickham the only player set to miss out through injury.

And Camarasa was seen arriving at Selhurst Park ahead of the game.

But here’s what some Palace fans have been saying on social media about his absence from the matchday squad as Palace face Wolves.
