Cam Newton sends message to Patriots fans after landing in Boston

Cam Newton officially touched down in Boston on Wednesday night.

The New England Patriots quarterback began working out with his new teammates just days after being signed. He’s already got in reps with Mohamed Sanu, N’Keal Harry, Devin Asiasi and Julian Edelman. Newton, 31, has dealt with injuries over the past couple seasons and is entering this year with a serious chip on his shoulder.

He signed a veteran minimum contract and is looking to prove all of the doubters wrong. Newton’s Instagram post on Thursday was all positive and sent a message to the fans in Boston — in his own style of writing.

“Boston, the eagle has landed! Now let’s get to work!”, Newton posted.

“I got real big plans, I ain’t gone lie. I got a whole lot to prove, I ain’t gone lie,” Newton quoted from a J.Cole song.

Newton’s not only replacing Tom Brady as an NFL MVP, he’s replacing the hyper-active social media accounts as well.
