Ahead of Sunday night’s game against the Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton is certainly ready to go. He posted something on his Instagram, telling fans he was ready to take on the bright lights of Sunday Night Football.
In last Sunday’s win against the Dolphins, Newton played well. He threw for 155 yards and rushed the ball 15 times for 75 yards. The Seattle Seahawks defense is going to present a bit more of a challenge, and it will be interesting to see how he adjusts to their style of play.
Among other things, New England will have to worry about Jamal Adams. The former New York Jet has playmaking ability, and Newton and the offense will have to be cognizant of that.
This is sure to be a fun game, as there are star-studded matchups all over the field. For the first time as a Patriot, Newton will have a chance to shine under the national spotlight.
