Cam Newton’s outfit is must-consume pregame material for New England Patriots fans, with the quarterback’s Week 13 getup looking like it was inspired by the “Inspector Gadget” cartoon. Newton rocked a beige trench coat to go with his signature hat. The quarterback makes a point of wearing a new, ornate hat every week.
For what it’s worth, the weather in Los Angeles was 70 degrees and sunny. The trench coat was 100% about the look — and almost 0% about practicality. It seems like a wasted opportunity to wear it in California, when he could’ve used it for a rough winter day in New England. But, of course, he knows more about fashion (fashun) than me. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt.
