New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton showed the ridiculous number of reps he took this offseason to get prepared for the 2020 season.
In a workout video he posted on Tuesday, Newton shared a quote: “Repetition is the mother of learning.” The video then proceeded to show a montage of Newton slapping the ball to initiate a play. This went on for about 30 seconds in a dizzying display of Newton’s work ethic. It seems to be an effort to show New England — and the NFL — how hard he’s been working to prove everyone wrong.
Clearly, he’s been putting in plenty of time on the practice field.
