Cam Newton on his ‘Madden 21’ rating: ‘This is unacceptable’

Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has some extra motivation to have a strong 2020 season, as if he needed anymore.

Now with the New England Patriots, Newton’s ‘Madden’ rating this year isn’t even among the top 15 on his new team. Replying to New England’s Instagram post sharing those ratings, Newton shared some emojis expressing his disbelief and said “this is unacceptable.”

Newton got a 78 overall rating from the developers at EA Sports this year. For those counting at home, that’s just three points higher than the guy who replaced him in Carolina. Teddy Bridgewater came in at 75.
