New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton has officially arrived at Gillette Stadium. He took to Twitter to share a photo of himself looking out at the stadium on Friday as he is ready to begin his first season with the Patriots.
Newton certainly will have his work cut out for him, as he looks to become the starter for a Patriots team that is looking to smooth over a remodeling year. He will have to battle with Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer for the starting job, as he enters a quarterback room that does not have a ton of starting experience. Newton will look to prove that he still has something left in the tank.
It will certainly be interesting to see how he adjusts to his new surroundings. One thing is for sure, he seems ready to compete.
