Attrition is quickly becoming a theme among Michigan State’s backup skill position players.
Redshirt junior receiver Cam Chambers has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Chambers is the fifth Spartan to enter the portal in the last month. He graduated in three years and has been attending law school at MSU the last few months. Law school obligations kept Chambers from the early portion of fall camp. That and an undisclosed injury had kept Chambers from playing much this season. He was yet to record a catch this season after securing 19 grabs for 264 yards last season.
In a since-deleted tweet published October 16, Chambers expressed frustration with lack of playing time, saying in part he was more than just a law school student.
