Cam Akers looked good on his first three carries of Sunday’s game, picking up 13 yards. However, those will be his only three carries of the week.
After exiting the game on the first drive with a rib injury, he was downgraded from questionable to ruled out. He will not return to the game against the Eagles, leaving Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson as the top running backs for the Rams.
The Rams also have Xavier Jones active on Sunday, so he’ll be the No. 3 running back behind Brown and Henderson.
