The Los Angeles Rams once again gave Cam Akers the start at running back this week against the Eagles, but his time on the field didn’t last long. He left the field after his third carry of the game, clutching his torso.
Not long thereafter, the Rams announced that Akers is questionable to return with a rib injury.
Akers carried it three times for 13 yards on the Rams’ first possession before leaving the game. The Rams scored a touchdown one play after Akers left, with Jared Goff hitting Tyler Higbee for six points.
