Calvin Ramsay 'tracked' by Manchester United as Premier League giants do their research on Aberdeen prospect

Manchester United are doing their research on Aberdeen youngster Calvin Ramsay, according to a report.

The 18-year-old right-back has been a revelation since forcing his way into the senior side at Pittodrie and that's not gone unnoticed.

Ramsay only made his first-team debut six months ago but The Scottish Sun report United have been compiling a "transfer dossier" on the teenager.

It's said they've had him watched regularly with Dons boss Stephen Glass confident the player could one day play at the top level.

Ramsay has also been linked with Everton after they failed in a bid for Rangers star Nathan Patterson.

A recent Scotland U-21 debutant, Ramsay's contract at Aberdeen runs until June 2024 after he signed an extension at the beginning o this year.

But as interest in his obvious potential mounts, club bosses could well look at extending his deal further.

He's made 18 appearances for the club in all competitions so far.
