Calvin Klein: Kendall Jenner and Noah Centineo join Shawn Mendes for spring campaign

New images have been released from Calvin Klein's spring 2019 underwear and jeans campaign, featuring singer Shawn Mendes and several other high profile celebrities.

The campaign imagery was first teased by Mendes on Sunday 17 February, who shared two of the photos on Instagram, much to the excitement of his fans.

On Tuesday 19 February, Calvin Klein released the rest of the images, revealing that Mendes didn't take part in the campaign alone.

Celebrities starring alongside the 20-year-old singer in the youthful fashion campaign include model Kendall JennerTo All The Boys I've Loved Before actor Noah Centineo and rapper A$AP Rocky.

The campaign was shot by British fashion photographer Glen Luchford in a domestic, suburban setting, with the aim of capturing the "raw and honest emotions and experiences of youth today".

In the pictures, Mendes, Jenner, Centineo and A$AP Rocky can be seen lounging in a variety of household settings, including a kitchen, a bathroom and an outdoor pool.

Several people have commented on the casual nature of the campaign, with some finding it quite jarring when juxtaposed with the fashionable apparel.

"All of these Calvin Klein underwear campaign photos look like they were taken in an open house during an estate sale," one person tweeted.

The star-studded underwear and jeans campaign comes with the tagline "Our Now #MyCalvins".

A video for the campaign was also launched on YouTube, set to the 1987 New Order track "True Faith".

"The coming-of-age concept evokes universal truths of curiosity, companionship, sexual exploration, and the spirit of rebellion," the press release for the campaign states.

In December 2018, Calvin Klein announced Raf Simons would be stepping down from his role as chief creative officer of the brand, less than two years after assuming the position.
