Calvin Harris has become a father for the first time after his wife, BBC Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope, gave birth to a baby boy whom they have named Micah.
The Scottish DJ, 41, shared the news on Instagram on Monday, posting a heartwarming series of photos marking the birth. “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!” he wrote.
“My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.” Among the images was a touching photo of the new dad lounging on an outdoor sofa cradling his newborn.

Other pictures captured intimate moments from the birth itself, including Vick in a candlelit birthing pool with scenic views, and Calvin holding their son in his arms shortly after delivery.
In a more unconventional moment, the One Kiss hitmaker also revealed that the couple had chosen to have Vick’s placenta made into capsules, sharing a photo of the preparation process.
Celebrity friends and fans commented on the post, with TV presenter Laura Whitmore writing: “Congrats to you both! Enjoy the magic x”, while singer Pixie Lott added: “OMG congrats Vick and Calvin!!!! So lovely.”

Fellow DJ Roman Kemp sent heart emojis, and BBC Radio 1 colleague Dean McCullough wrote: “Congratulations guys, hope mama and baby are doing amazing.”
Vick Hope, 35, who began presenting BBC’s Countryfile earlier this year, had confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year, debuting her growing baby bump at one of Calvin’s Ibiza shows.
In photos shared to social media at the time, she posed in a sparkling mini dress backstage and later relaxed in a bikini alongside fellow presenter AJ Odudu.

The couple, who began dating in January 2022 and tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in 2023, have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.
However, they’ve occasionally shared glimpses into their idyllic life together at their sprawling organic farm in Ibiza.
The 138-acre estate, known as Terra Masia, produces fruit, vegetables, eggs and wine and reflects Harris’s evolution from globetrotting EDM superstar to nature-loving landowner.

A source previously told The Sun that the DJ is “truly passionate about the project”, adding: “Calvin employs an expert team, including farmers and chefs, but he’s also hands-on, regularly getting involved in planting and other farm activities.”
The couple have also purchased a five-bed mansion in the Cotswolds and are set to move in later this summer.
