Calvin Harris' Creamfields Festival performance gives fans something 'they've never seen before'

Calvin Harris has came along way since he first entered the UK charts with tracks including Acceptable in the 80s.

The Scottish DJ was back in the country this evening for his only UK performance of the year - taking place at Creamfields Festival.

Taking to the main stage, the headliner assured fans they were in for quite the show - and he wasn’t wrong.

Starting with his Rag ‘N’ Bone Man duet Giant he let the thousands of music fans who had packed around the stage, know he was excited to party with them.

It’s rare to catch the DJ live in the UK these days as his packed schedule now includes residencies in Vegas and Ibiza.

It was certainly good to have him back.

He made sure to play the majority of his huge hits from his catalogue of songs.

Speaking to the crowds, he said: “My name is Calvin Harris in case you didn’t know.

“And it’s my pleasure to be with you all tonight.”

Of course, there was never any doubt people would be unsure of his name, just like his songs.

Highlights of the set included One Kiss, How Deep is Your Love and Sweet Nothing.

Audiences were treated to a mix of house remixes as well as tech.

They were given a night they won’t forget and no doubt left hoping the DJ won’t leave it so long to come back and perform.

After his performance ended, music fans were quick to take to social media.
