Callum Hudson-Odoi time to shine ahead of Norwich clash as Thomas Tuchel rings the changes

Thomas Tuchel has gone for a youthful side in his lineup for the Premier League clash with Norwich at Stamford Bridge. He has fielded a starting 11 that is more than capable of maintaining Chelsea's lead at the top of the table.

Making five changes from the team that beat Malmo in, Tuchel has put his trust in a new attacking partnership and bought some of Cobham graduates into the fold. As Timo Werner, Romelu Lukaku, and Christian Pulisic are now all out due to injury, the attacking options look scarce but the boys in Blue will somehow find a way to make it work.

Two consecutive matches where we get to see Callum Hudson-Odoi play as a left attacker? Tuchel you're spoiling us! I am over the moon to see what Callum can produce. Fans have been crying out for Tuchel to give the 20-year-old a fair run of games in his preferred position as opposed to the forced right-wing-back role that he has previously been made to undertake.

I predict Hudson-Odoi to run riot on that left-hand side with Ben Chilwell on the overlap. Mouthwatering scenes are incoming and I smell a burgeoning partnership between Hudson-Odoi and Kai Havertz who will be leading the Chelsea attack as their number 9 today.

The front three selection is where it gets interesting. Of course, Mason Mount starts - Chelsea's creative engine, my personal star boy. It seems that Tuchel has warmed up to the idea of Callum Hudson-Odoi occupying an attacking spot.

A healthy backline for Chelsea. No injuries recorded yet Thomas Tuchel has decided to switch it up. Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger both keep their place in the back three but Trevoh Chalobah comes in for Andreas Christensen. A very much deserved start for Chalobah who has been excellent when he's been given the chance so far this season.

Cesar Azpiluceta and N'Golo Kante are deservedly rested as Reece James and Ben Chilwell are set to occupy their usual wingback roles. Plenty of pace and attacking threat with the two wing-backs and I have no problem with the choices he made in them roles. Hopefully, both can overlap and give us great width.

With the double pivot being occupied by Jorghino and Kovacic, I have to ask, why on earth has Ruben Loftus-Cheek been dropped! Having started in last weekend's match against Southampton, you'd think he'd have the same opportunity to start again this week.

He has produced some stellar performances since his remontada began under Tuchel. It is a shame to see him start on the bench, however, I am sure that he will be able to make a feature at some point during the match.

With Jorginho competing for that all-important Ballon d'Or award, there's no surprise that he has found his way back into the Premier League starting 11. I expect him to dictate the midfield despite Norwich stacking it up.

Since his goal against Liverpool earlier on in the season, fans have been frustrated with the German forward who had struggled to produce in front of goal. His poor efforts in previous matches did not go unnoticed by the Chelsea boss and he'd rightfully lost his starting spot to Timo Werner who has been in top form.

With Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku both out with injuries, Kai Havertz has the opportunity to replicate his goal-scoring performance from Wednesday night's Champions League match. He and Callum Hudson-Odoi linked up to give Chelsea their third goal of the night. This partnership may be the key ingredient to get Havertz back into form and reassert his right to a starting spot going forwards.

Chelsea line up 3-4-3 - Mendy; Chalobah, Thiago Silva, Rudiger; James, Jorginho (C), Kovacic, Chilwell; Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Havertz
