Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi opened his Premier League account in the Blues' 3-0 win over Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
Frank Lampard's men were comfortable winners over the Clarets as a penalty from Jorginho and a goal from Tammy Abaraham put them two goals to the good going into the half time break.
It wouldn't be long until the Blues made it three, with Hudson-Odoi turned in Cesar Azpilicueta's cross just four minutes after the restart.
Despite previously scoring eight goals for the club, the strike was the 19-year-old's first in the Premier League, with all of his other goals coming in European or cup competitions.
The teenager missed the early part of the season due to injury he picked up against Burnley last season, but has since made 14 Premier League appearances this campaign.
Following the match, the player took to social media to send a message to Blues' fans.
"Great performance from the boys but also amazing support!! Happy to get another goal as well," he wrote on his Twitter account.
The midfielder also earned praise from head coach Frank Lampard for his performance during the match as well as his goal.
"His overall performance was an absolute statement for Callum of what he needs to do," he said in his post-match press conference.
"That was the real Callum Hudson-Odoi and what he can be, because there's obviously more to come.
"But I thought his goal was brilliant for him, and if he can carry on doing that, then it's a serious player we have in Callum."
Hudson-Odoi has scored eight goals and provided nine assists in his 49 appearances for Chelsea so far.
