Callum Hudson-Odoi's three-word message to Chelsea supporters after signing new five-year deal

Callum Hudson-Odoi will be a Chelsea player for the next five years.

After months of speculation as well as links to Bayern Munich, the winger finally quashed any talk of him leaving by signing a new contract with the west London outfit.

The deal will keep Hudson-Odoi at Stamford Bridge until 2024 at the very least.

That means Blues supporters will hopefully get to see the 18-year-old blossom into a world class forward and be a permanent fixture for club as well as country in the coming years.

Last season was a breakthrough one for Hudson-Odoi.

He weighed in with five goals in 22 appearances across all competitions before his season was cut short because of injury, although he is closing in on a return to action and is set to play a key role under head coach Frank Lampard.

And this new contract - worth a reported £180,000 per week shows the faith the club have in Hudson-Odoi and the wonderkid couldn't be more happier to have sorted out his future.

Taking to social media after signing his new deal, Hudson-Odoi had a simple three word message.

"5 more years!!!" he tweeted.

In truth, that's not all Hudson-Odoi has said about his new contract.

Once news had broke about the deal, the England international sat down with the club's official website and outlined his ambitions for the next five years.

"It’s an amazing feeling," Hudson-Odoi said. "It's been a long wait but it's done now and I'm really happy about that.

"I've been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at.

"I want to lift as many trophies as possible, win as many games as possible and contribute to as many goals as I can as well. As a team, we just want to work hard to achieve the best results we can.

"I'm delighted everything has been agreed and now I'm just looking forward to properly getting back."
