Callum Hudson-Odoi opens up on how Chelsea stars have reacted to Thomas Tuchel's arrival

Callum Hudson-Odoi is loving life under new boss Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel was brought in to replace Frank Lampard last month and he is already off to a flying start, picking up seven points from his first three games in charge.

The German boss hasn't been afraid to put his own stamp on things at Stamford Bridge, reverting to the five-at-the-back system used by Antonio Conte and bringing the likes of Marcos Alonso back into the fold.

And the Spanish wing-back isn't the only one to benefit from Tuchel's arrival with Hudson-Odoi starting all three games, starting two of the three at right wing-back and the last one alongside Timo Werner up front.

After Chelsea's win over Tottenham and ahead of this weekend's clash with Sheffield United, Hudson-Odoi was asked how he has found life under Tuchel.

“I’m liking it because it’s motivating when a manager is on the side giving you instructions and pushing you and shouting at you," he replied to Chelsea's official website. "Sometimes you don’t like shouting but sometimes it motivates players to keep improving and keep showing your quality.

“I’m enjoying every bit of it. He has come with a real purpose to try and make us win games as much and quickly as possible.

"He has tried to apply his tactics as quick as possible as well. We’re all enjoying it at the moment and hopefully we can keep going with it.”

The fact everyone seems to be enjoying life under Tuchel will be music to the ears of the Chelsea fans who have been disappointed with the start to the season made by their club after spending more than £200million in the summer.

The Blues now seem to be on the up with just four points between them and the top four, which appears to be a very realistic goal despite having slipped as low as ninth during their poor run of form under Lampard.
