Callum Hudson-Odoi gets his first start, Hazard recalled - Chelsea's predicted team vs Brighton

Chelsea are back in action this evening when they face Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge and it looks like it could be a big night for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Maurizio Sarri has yet to start him in the Premier League this season, despite him making his debut for England last week, but tonight could well be the night the Italian goes with the 18-year-old from the very start after his comments in his press conference on Tuesday.

Sarri said that the 18-year-old 'was ready to play' and that he could start tonight, with the Chelsea boss expected to make a host of changes from the win over Cardiff City.

There should be recalls for both Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante who were on the bench on Sunday, while Marcos Alonso will almost certainly miss out with a hamstring injury.

That means that both Willian and Pedro will drop out of the starting XI to make way for Hudson-Odoi and Hazard, while Emerson will start from the off in place of Alonso at left back.

Kepa Arrizabalaga will start in goal for Chelsea and in front of him should be a back four of Emerson, David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Jorginho will most likely keep his place in the midfield but will have Kante for company this evening, while it looks likely that Ross Barkley will keep his place in Sarri's midfield.

Gonzalo Higuain will consider himself fortunate if he starts again this evening after yet another poor performance which saw him subbed on the 77th minute for Olivier Giroud, but the game with Brighton will be a good chance for the Argentine to try and get another goal under his belt and some confidence.

Chelsea XI: Kepa; Emerson, David Luiz, Rudiger, Azpilicueta; Jorginho, Kante, Barkley; Hazard, Hudson-Odoi, Higuain
