St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson has responded to Neil Lennon's claim that the Perth club did not provide adequate changing facilities to ensure social distancing earlier this season.
The Celtic boss told Monday's press conference that he had experienced numerous Covid breaches in Scottish football that had gone unpunished, in response to scrutiny over the Parkhead club's decent Dubai training camp.
Lennon said his players were "crammed into a little dressing room" on their recent visit to McDiarmid Park, while Hamilton Accies also came under fire.
That prompted a Saints statement from their head of football operations Kirsten Robertson, who insisted the comments were "inaccurate and unfounded" on Tuesday.
And Davidson has now become embroiled in the saga as he hopes to draw a line under the incident.
Davidson said: "The statement speaks for itself. It is probably something I don't want to get involved with. We put a statement out to correct any wrongs.
"We work very hard to meet the protocols which is difficult. We try to do our best to always do that and the statement shuts the door on it."
