Hundreds of people called for Boris Johnson's resignation today over allegations a Christmas party took place at Downing Street last year.
There was an outcry on social media after a damning video showed Downing Street advisor Allegra Stratton joking about the party which reportedly took place at the height of covid restrictions.
Earlier this week, the Liverpool ECHO confronted the Prime Minister about the allegations, which he denied.

During Prime Minister's Questions today Mr Johnson continued to deny a party had taken place but said an investigation would be launched into the claims.
This afternoon Ms Stratton resigned and said she understood the "anger and frustration" people felt.
And many ECHO commenters were left furious, with many calling for the Prime Minister's resignation.
Jane Keeley, said: "Get him gone. Hopefully a lot of people will wake up now and start to realise what is going on.”
Angela Lewis said: "No one could have done a worse job than he has. He has got to go down as the worst Prime Minister this country has ever had. He is not trustworthy, he lies through his high teeth about everything, and his sheep just follow him and they just lie too. None of them have done their jobs. It's one thing after another with them.”
Paul Rooney said: "People died and were in fear of being fined if they saw their families. This isn’t a media hype, the video clearly shows it all."
And Ron Evans said: "The whole cabinet should resign as well as him."
