Calls for Roy Keane to get his own TV show after latest Sky Sports appearance

Some football fans want Roy Keane to be given his own TV show following his latest appearance on Sky Sports.

The Cork native didn't hold back in his criticism of David de Gea and Jordan Pickford at the weekend, as he told viewers he would have "lynched" the Manchester United shot stopper at half-time if he was his team-mate, reports Cork Beo.

Keane told Sky Sports: "It's almost a bit of arrogance from him, waiting. I'm sure Ole spoke about 'You will be closed down - Everton away - by this young striker [Calvert-Lewin] who is in great form'.

"I wouldn't be surprised [if he has competition from Henderson]. I think there will have to be. That's the manager's job, you are constantly making decisions on your players.

"They have Henderson out on loan, and it's certainly an option that Ole will be thinking over."

Keane also gave an honest appraisal of Everton 'keeper Jordan Pickford, saying "The bottom line with Pickford, I don't need to see the stats. I know he's not a good goalkeeper. He's not up to it."

And people now want to see Keane given his own TV show.

The @PureRoyKeane account tweeted about a Sky Sports "Roy Keane Show", and the response to the idea has been huge.

The Tweet has been shared and liked hundreds of times, with some people saying they would pay for a subscription just to watch it.
