Calls for emergency meeting of locals after 'lads tell pregnant woman they would cut baby out of her' in Cork village

A distressed parent has called for an emergency meeting of local residents following reports of "out of control" anti-social behaviour in a village.

A post sent in to the Killeagh Inch Community Council Facebook page details horrifying alleged actions by a group of young men recently, Cork Beo reports.

According to the social media post, two men were taken away from the East Cork village playground by gardai, while another two were removed by ambulance after allegedly abusing several passersby.

A pregnant woman was also reportedly told that the group would "cut the baby out of her".

Another resident claimed that the men attempted to scare young children with their dogs and also threw empty bottles at young women who were exercising in the area.

The parent suggested that residents should get together in an attempt to put a stop to anti-social activity and they want "strong action to be taken".

They added: "Everyone is talking about (this) but nothing is being done."

The post concluded: "This is not where I want to raise my child."

No arrests have been made by gardai in relation to these alleged incidents.
