Well if you're a true crime fan you're certainly in luck - expert Jennifer Rees will be exploring one of forensic psychology's most troubling topics with Edinburgh locals in September at a unique event.
During the talk in Leith's Old Dr Bells Baths, guests will discover how serial killers are classified and Jennifer will discuss the typical differences between male and female serial killers using case studies - as well as debunking common serial killer myths.
Ever wondered why women fall in love with known serial killers? Jennifer will discuss the clinical knowledge surrounding why serial killers gain admirers, fan mail, and even spouses in light of their atrocious crimes.
You will also investigate the phenomenon of couples who commit crime together such as Fred and Rose West and Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, as well exploring the folie à deux syndrome - 'shared psychosis'.
'The Psychology of Serial Killers' is on Sunday 15 September from 7pm to 9pm.
