This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings and Dynamic Earth are celebrating the occasion with a special family evening event on Tuesday.
Kids and adults alike are invited to the centre to join experts from the Royal Observatory for an out of this world evening.
The event is the premier of their Destination Moon program which tells the epic story of humanity's first voyage to another world through interactive fun, activities and demos.
Aimed at children age 6 and over, wannabe astronauts can watch explosive rocket launches, zoom across the lunar surface on a virtual reality moon buggy and create their own astronaut mission patch badges to take home.
Families can then discover the epic story behind the historic 'one one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind' moment in the centre's spectacular new 360⁰ movie CAPCOM GO! at their famous ShowDome cinema (free popcorn and drinks included!).
It's guaranteed to be a spectacular evening for the whole family - even on a school night!
