Call police if you spot missing schoolboy as fears grow

The public were today urged to contact police if they spot a missing boy last seen in Liverpool as fears for his welfare grow.

Merseyside Police say they are "are increasingly concerned" about the whereabouts of David Byers, who is missing from home.

Efforts to find the 13-year-old, originally from Kirkby, have so far drawn a blank.

David has been missing since Tuesday, July 20 and the teenager was last seen on Langdale Street, Everton on Tuesday, July 27.

A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We are continuing our appeal to find 13-year-old David Byers who is missing from home."

And added: "We are increasingly concerned about David’s whereabouts."

David is described as around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with shaved hair and hazel eyes. He speaks with a Liverpool accent.

When he was last seen, David was described as wearing a black tracksuit and a blue bobble hat.
