As is becoming the norm with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone seasonal updates, the Season 5 update is another huge download.
Call of Duty Season 5 is now live across all platforms and Infinity ward has confirmed the download size.
While effort has been made to 'reduce the console footprint', as an Infinity Ward blog post claims, the download is still going to take up premium harddrive space.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season 5 is currently 33 GB on PS4, 49 GB on Xbox One and 54 GB on PC.
While this is better than some updates have been, it clearly isn't ideal.
Previously, the seasonal updates have clocked in over far and over 40gb for a single update. Warzone itself, the standalone battle royale mode, is nearly 100gb alone to download.
Season 5 has now launched as of August 5 and we finally know everything that's been added.
The map of Verdansk has gone through its first-ever significant changes with new locations and there's now a loot train making a circuit around the map, much like in rival battle royale game Apex Legends.
A brand new mode has been added called Mini Royale, which is just a condensed version of the normal Warzone experience, but it's over much quicker and has fewer players.
