"Call of Duty" Season 5 arrives in "Black Ops 7" and "Warzone" on July 23, bringing a new Battle Pass filled with more than 100 unlockable rewards. Players can earn new weapons, operator skins, weapon blueprints, CoD Points, cosmetics, and other bonuses through the free and premium reward tracks.
The latest season also marks the return of Spectre, the stealth-focused specialist previously featured in "Black Ops 3" and "Black Ops 4." Alongside the new Battle Pass, Season 5 introduces additional multiplayer and Zombies content and brings back a fan-favorite Warzone mode.
Spectre Returns in 'Black Ops 7' Season 5
The standard $10 Season 5 Battle Pass immediately unlocks Spectre, who returns with several new operator skins available throughout the reward track.
The Instant Rewards track includes a 10% Battle Pass XP boost, the Spectre Operator, the Dawn Shred Legendary Blueprint for the Voyak KT-3 Assault Rifle, the Swift Talent Emote, and the Make an Entrance Animated Calling Card.
Players who purchase the BlackCell Battle Pass also receive an exclusive Spectre variant.
Other returning characters featured in the Season 5 Battle Pass include Richtofen, Dempsey, Reaper EWR-3, Anderson, and T.E.D.D., with each receiving new cosmetic rewards.
BlackCell Battle Pass Adds Exclusive Rewards
Priced at $30, the BlackCell Battle Pass provides additional cosmetics, weapon blueprints, finishing moves, and progression bonuses.
According to GameSpot, its Instant Rewards include the Cipher BlackCell Operator Skin, the Vindex Mastercraft Blueprint for the Sturmwolf 45 SMG, the Riddlefang Knife Blueprint, and 1,100 CoD Points. Players also receive the Meat Grinder Finishing Move, a weapon charm, HUD theme, BlackCell Clan Tag, and a 10% XP Loyalty Boost.
BlackCell owners can unlock even more rewards as they progress through the Battle Pass. These include additional skins and blueprints for Spectre, T.E.D.D., Anderson, Dempsey, Richtofen, and Reaper EWR-3.
FG42 and Gremlin Join the Season 5 Arsenal
Season 5 introduces two new weapons that players can unlock through the free Battle Pass track.
The FG42 is a fully automatic assault rifle designed as a balanced weapon, offering a combination of damage, accuracy, and mobility. Players can unlock it as an HVT reward on Page 3.
The Gremlin arrives on Page 6 as a new submachine gun. It emphasizes mobility and handling, making it a potential option for players who favor aggressive, fast-paced gameplay.
More Battle Pass Rewards to Unlock
Beyond weapons and operators, the Season 5 Battle Pass includes a wide selection of cosmetic items.
Players can earn weapon blueprints, reticles, equipment skins, emotes, finishing moves, sprays, calling cards, emblems, GobbleGums, loading screens, weapon charms, and XP tokens.
Players who complete the entire Battle Pass can unlock the Viscera Ultra Skin for Spectre, the Fission Core Legendary Carbon 57 SMG Blueprint, 200 CoD Points, an Animated Calling Card, an Animated Emblem, and an Ultra GobbleGum.
BlackCell owners can also claim an exclusive variant of Spectre's completion reward.
Season 5 Expands 'Black Ops 7' and 'Warzone'
The new Battle Pass is only part of the Season 5 update. The latest season also expands the overall "Black Ops 7" and "Warzone" experience with new multiplayer maps, a new Zombies map, and the return of Heavy Metal Heroes in Battle Royale.
