Call 999 straight away if you see this man as police warn 'do not approach him'

People are being urged to call 999 straight away if they see this man and not to approach him.

Merseyside Police is trying to track down Connor Bayne, 22, from Wirral and put him back behind bars.

Bayne, was jailed in September 2016, following the assault of a man at a house in Wallasey.

He is now wanted on recall to prison after breaching the conditions of his release on April 24, 2019.

As part of an appeal to track down Bayne, officers have warned the public not to approach him but to call 999.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

A previous appeal for information was made in 2016, after he failed to appear in court in connection with assault and criminal damage allegations in  Wallasey .

At that time he was known to frequent the Wallasey and Ellesmere Port areas.

A police spokesperson said in relation to the latest appeal: "We are continuing to appeal for information to locate 22-year-old Connor Bayne who is wanted on recall to prison.

"Members of the public are warned not to approach Bayne but to call 999."

If you have any information or know where he is, please get in touch @MerPolCC, call 101 or call @CrimestoppersUK anonymously on 0800 555 111.
